The entrance of Sacsayhuamán 3km from Cusco Center,
panoramic photo - zoom
The flag in colored stripes is the flag of the Quechua
population in the Andes.
Then we return about 100m. The guide means that BEFORE the
entrance there would be a little quarry and this would be
"interesting":

Cusco Sacsayhuamán: the path to the little quarry
From above one can see the parking.

The view of the parking at the entrance
We are passing many trees:

and now the view of Cusco is coming provoking really a
special feeling:

Little
cut stones
We return passing the trees again reaching some little
houses and finding some little stones:

Little quarry of Sacsayhuamán, the hamlet - a cut stone
One can admit that underground many such cut stones can be
found yet. But the territories are sold!

Little quarry of Sacsayhuamán, little square - cut stones
joint aside
These cut stones should all remain
where they are found, and one could find new ruins here -
but this has not been done until today (2017). The guide
is passing the group of cut stones without saying much but
is showing other locations:

Bright view to the
center of the fortress of Sacsayhuamán
And now the giant view of the fortress of Sacsayhuamán is
coming:

And with the view to Cusco included the whole panorama looks
like this:

Stones being
underground yet
And there are more traces of former buildings. One can
really suppose: on this territory more ruins could be
found yet:

But tourism in Cusco is also working without new excavation
work...

Little quarry of Sacsayhuamán: shrubs - sector with stones
and a trunk 1,2

Trees on the territory of the little quarry of Sacsayhuamán
Local population or botanists know what kind of shrubs and
trees these are, and which are the fruits. So, and now we go
to the entrance.
